MIX Academy is for anyone who has expressed a commitment, desire, or interest in building THE MIX Church in a leadership capacity. It is designed with the full-time working adult in mind. Classes are structured with convenient schedules so students can grow in faith and leadership while balancing family, work, and life responsibilities.

You do not need to be a member of THE MIX Church to participate. However, all MIX Academy students are required to serve regularly on the Dream Team during Sunday experiences. Serving is not optional — it is where classroom learning becomes lived-out leadership.

• Students are allowed no more than one absence per semester.
• A second absence (excused or unexcused) may result in removal from the Academy.
• Tardiness (arriving more than 15 minutes late) counts as a half-absence.
• Consistent attendance is part of discipleship — leaders must be faithful, present, and dependable.

• Start Date: Tuesday, October 7, 2025
• End Date: Tuesday, May 5, 2026
• Class Time: Tuesdays, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM (in-person)
• Class Location: Weekly, in-person at THE MIX Church offices
• Track: Two semesters (Fall + Spring) with scheduled holiday breaks
• Hands-On: Students serve during Sunday service times as part of their training

Students are expected to:

• Attend class consistently (120-minute sessions each week)
• Participate fully in group discussions and activities
• Complete weekly readings, journaling, and assignments
• Take quizzes at the end of each module
• Attend Freedom Weekend Encounter
• Actively serve on the Dream Team during Sunday services
• Commit to finishing strong — this program is a marathon, not a sprint

Yes. Students who complete all requirements will participate in a Graduation Service and will receive a Certificate of Completion as recognition of their achievement.
