A HARVEST OF CHANGE & TRANSFORMATION

Pastor Marcus England planted THE MIX to help people connect with God and live full lives. With a launch Team, Pastor Marcus renovated the building purchased and pastored by his grandparents in the 1960’s, rebranded the ministry, and launched on Sunday, September 27, 2015.

From the beginning, THE MIX has focused on reaching those who do not know God personally and building healthy relationships with other Christ-followers. The life-giving message of the Gospel, the passion and joy of Sunday services, and the simple style of THE MIX draws many in Baltimore and surrounding areas to call THE MIX “home”.

Over these 10 years, our church has reaped a harvest of diverse people, cultures, generations and life experiences — people far from perfect, but who have a heart for others — coming together to change lives and the world. THE MIX is moving people from their past to passion and purpose–a full life in Jesus Christ — transforming lives, together!

OUR SENIOR PASTOR

Pastor Marcus is a Maryland native, born and raised in East Baltimore. He loves this City and its mix of people and culture. He has served the body of Christ in the local church in many capacities from childhood until this day – pastoring for 10 years – and has gained immense wisdom. His amazing wife is Tamichia (Meshe is what we call her) and he is a dad to three young ladies: Tyshea, Maya and Kirsten.

Pastor Marcus and Tamichia are perfect examples of God using ordinary people to do extraordinary things! Their heart is to see lives changed. They believe that we are destined to change the world one person at a time.

FAQS

It is our once-a-year sacrificial offering that fuels future ministry and outreach efforts beyond regular tithes.

Tithing supports the ongoing ministry budget for our church. Impact Offering funds future growth in areas such as salvations, baptisms, Baltimore Dream Center, MIX Kids, Student Ministry, and expansion.

Impact Offering is Sunday, November 9th, 2025. However, gifts can be made online any time leading up to that date.

Yes. Secure online giving is available. You can also give via text or THE MIX app.

Yes. All giving is fully tax-deductible and you will receive a giving statement.

We encourage everyone to pray first, plan ahead, and participate in faith at whatever level God leads. We are asking every adult to consider a gift of $1000 or more.

Your gift will be used to fuel ministry priorities, such as:

  • Building purchase
  • Outreach through the Baltimore Dream Center
  • Student Ministry
  • MIX Kids Exceptional Child Room
  • MIX Groups
  • Freedom Conference
  • Salvations

  • Preparing for future campuses

Every gift matters. The goal is 100% participation in our Impact Offering, not equal amounts of gifts given.
