Leading a MIX Group isn’t about being perfect. Leading a MIX Group is about serving others by providing a forum for them to do life together. It’s about sharing your gifts, passions, and wisdom with those who have similar gifts and interests. We believe people’s lives are changed one semester at a time by moving one step toward Christ and His people where they can find freedom and support during life’s journey. As a MIX Group Leader, you get to play an important role in that process.
Our MIX Groups directory opens for signups on Sunday, February 8th and the spring semester begins on Sunday, February 15th.
Here’s what you need to do:
START YOUR MIX GROUP LEADER JOURNEY
NEW GROUP LEADERS
Start your journey to leading your own MIX Group by becoming a MIX Group Co-Lead. Being a MIX Group Co-Lead pairs you with an experienced MIX Group Leader for at least 1 semester so you can learn how to lead a successful MIX Group on your own. Submit Your Co-Lead Interest Form by clicking the button below. Once we receive your interest form, we will contact you to discuss next steps.
NEW STUDENT MINISTRY GROUP LEADERS

Attend Our MIX Group Leader TRAINING
When you submit your interest form, you are automatically registered for our required MIX Group Leader Training scheduled for Sunday, January 25th from 12:30pm – 1:30pm (Click here to join us on Zoom).
At our MIX Group Leader Training, you will have fun and connect with all of our MIX Group leaders, learn how to be the best group leader you can be! SAVE THE DATE!

Share the good news
Once your MIX Group Interest form has been approved, start telling people about your group and invite them to join! And, when our MIX Groups directory opens on Sunday, February 8th, you can share the link with them to sign up.
We’re planning a fun MIX Groups Kickoff so you can invite our MIX Family to join your group as well. Plan to be at THE MIX (Dunbar High School) in-person at 9am on the following dates so you can be a part of it:
- Sunday, February 8th
- Sunday, February 15th
MIX Group Leader Pre-requisites:
- Growth Track & Next Steps Interview completion. You can complete any missing Growth Track Steps in December 2025 and January 2026. Click here to complete Growth Track.
- At least 1 semester as a MIX Group member to become a MIX Group Co-Lead.
- At least 1 semester as a MIX Group Co-Lead to become a MIX Group Leader.
